Meet Shirley King PA-C :
Shirley is a graduate of the University of Washington Medix PA Program and has been practicing at CarePlus for the past nine (9) years. She began practicing as a Physician Assistant in 1998. Shirley specializes in caring for patients who have Diabetes, Asthma, or COPD, hypertension (high blood pressure), as well as general women’s health, upper respiratory infections, coughs, fever, stomach pain, influenza, headaches, earaches, urinary tract infections, STD’s, physicals, etc.
As a practitioner, Shirley feels it is important to “help her patients feel better and make positive lifestyle changes.” She cares for patients of all ages and all walks of life. Her favorite patients are those who care enough about themselves to actively participate in staying well.
Shirley Loves to spend time with her husband, her grandchildren, and her Pug.
Meet Leonard Leimbach PA-C:
Leonard developed his love for medicine while serving his country in the military, where he completed coursework as a “Basic Combat Medic.” In addition, he completed coursework and obtained a “Certificate of Completion Physical Therapy Technician.” Leonard practiced Physical Therapy from 1999-2008, at which time, he returned to school to become a ” Physician Assistant.” Leonard graduated from San Joaquin Valley College with his PA in 2011.
Leonard specifically loves surgical procedures including laceration repairs (cuts), abscesses, cysts, removal of foreign bodies, wart removal, skin tag removal, ect. He truly enjoys his Family Practice patients and they enjoy him. He has a wonderful bedside manner and often shares humorous experiences with staff and patients alike.
Leonard loves being a resident of the beautiful Pacific Northwest. He loves the out-doors and is grateful for the many varied opportunities for adventure in the pacific Northwest.
Meet Deems Okamoto MD:
Dr. Okamoto has been Board Certified in Family Medicine since 1978, as well as Emergency medicine since 1985. He is on active staff at Swedish Medical Center-Ballard, Swedish Medical Center-Seattle, and Active Courtesy Staff at Northwest Hospital.
Dr. Okamoto is ACLS-EP Regional Faculty, Regional Instructor, and Regional Director. He is also ACLS, ACLS-EP Instructor and Course Director to King County and Pierce County Paramedics from 1980 to present. Dr. Okamoto has been the Medical Director of CarePlus Medical Center since 1984.
Dr. Okamoto enjoys spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, fishing, and teaching.
